Hope I have stated the problem clearly and provided the necessary info. They don't seem to have trouble hearing me (concerning volume) Secondary Sound Device: Microphone (2.4G Wireless Headset)Īudio card: Onboard Audio Chipset - Asus Crosshair V FormulaĪlso, I play (and record) a lot of a game called Project Reality (war-sim) where you communicate with other players. Primary Sound Device: Win10 Sound (WASAPI) I record audio with the following settings: This problem occurs with two different headsets (Creative Fatality (☙ years old) and 2.4G Wireless Headset (2 months old)) and a standalone microphone (no brand name, second hand) and they all require roughly the same amount of audio boosting, so I am assuming that the issue is software related, not hardware. I have checked the properties tab of my mic and it was set to 100% (the max) and have tried playing around with the Realtek audio settings, but so far I can't find a solution that works. Currently to fix it I have to boost the volume by 15 dB when editing videos, but preferably I would like to have it be louder to start with. Hi, I have been having a problem where the volume of the microphone recording is very low.
